Lammas Day Retreat

I invite you to join me for a very special Lammas Seasonal Retreat Day on Sunday 16 August 🌞🌻🌅

The seasonal portal of Lammas from 1st August - 20th September falls halfway between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox. It's the first of the three harvest festivals in the Wheel of the Year cycle and traditionally honoured the grain harvest 🌾

Seasonally speaking it’s a time in the year when the sun is at peak generative power and the earth’s bounty is abundant and ready for harvesting. Encompassing both Leo and Virgo seasons, Lammas is connected to themes of abundance, blessings, gratitude, growth, prosperity, fire, warmth, creativity, motherhood, power and transformation 🌞🌻🔥

Traditionally it was a time to come together and celebrate with community. Bread was baked in honour of the grain harvest and feasts were held to celebrate the abundance, growth and blessings of the year so far 🌾🥖🍞
